Michael Fung is the Executive Director of the Institute for the Future of Education at Tecnologico de Monterrey – a leading private university in Latin America. Previously, he was responsible for developing Singapore’s continuing education and training landscape via the SkillsFuture Organization under the Ministry of Education. Michael has also occupied several senior advisory positions at educational institutions such as Singapore University of Technology and Design and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
David Porter is Principal Consultant at DP+Associates. Formerly he was Executive Director of BCcampus, where David and his team engineered Canada’s first government-funded open textbook program. David has also worked as an Associate Vice-President of Educational Support and Innovation at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, as Dean of Innovative Learning at Humber College, and most recently as Senior Adviser of Higher Education at the Commonwealth of Learning. He was previously CEO of eCampusOntario, where he led technology-enabled learning initiatives, such as micro-credentialing, across Ontario’s 45 universities and colleges.
Alejandro Caballero is the Principal Education Specialist at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. His experience in Education spans Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. With specializations from technology to employability, Alejandro has been instrumental in developing IFC’s advisory services in Education. He has led 13 digital transformation engagements with higher education institutions globally. Earlier in his career, Alejandro worked with the World Bank, supporting governments in Higher Education, Student Lending and Science, and Technology and Innovation policy design.
