Teaching and Learning Centers
IFC and Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) understand that Higher Education is essential to employability and economic development. During the Jordan National Employability Benchmarking, IFC’s Vitae program collected data from more than 27 universities and colleges. Their report found a greater need for emerging and established institutions to develop employment strategies for their students and graduates. Among them, HTU stood out for its exceptional commitment to employability.
Following the national benchmarking, HTU pursued a Vitae 360° Assessment, which objectively evaluated their strategies, approach, and effectiveness. The assessment provided insights and practical interventions on establishing an alumni office, a career service center, and a teaching and learning center for their staff. Ultimately, HTU developed the global connections and regional recognition needed to match students and graduates with their career ambitions.
Through their commitment to employability and the reccomendations of the Vitae program, HTU will be among the first universities in Jordan to experience the benefits of a Vitae 360° Assessment.

“It was essential for us at HTU, even at this early stage, to have objective assessment of the effectiveness of the strategies and the approaches… and that us exactly why we decided to go with the Vitae program.”
— Dr. Ismael Al-Hinti, President of Academic Affairs HTU
